Love is...

a dash of thoughtfulness for life!

Since most of my readers are married, I thought I'd post my weekly challenge in doing something special for my hubby. It'll hold me accountable, and if nothing else, you might find my challenges interesting.

Feel free to tackle them with your own spouse, if you so desire.

This week's challenge:

Find out what is hubby's favorite candy, (I'm hoping it's not candy canes or something else seasonal like that) and create a little candy dish filled with them--be inventive. In a quiet moment, present the package to him and enjoy just one with him alone. Send the rest to work for his enjoyment when you aren't around.

Oh - that is very sweet. HA! Like the pun? It just sort of came out. :) I really like that idea. My hubby's favorite candy is mallow cups, only we can't find them around here. And if we did, I would definitley sit with him and enjoy one...probably more than one, actually.

Eileen: What a great idea for showing thoughtfulness.
I think my husband's list of favorites might exceed my budget! HA!
Let us know how this turns out, won't you?

What a cute idea!
If I was married, I would be all over this. I'll pass it on to my sister though.

Last week I bought my hubby some butterfingers and then a can of mixed nuts. (He loves both.) He took them to work to munch on during the day. :)
Great minds think alike!

What a great reminder that little things make a big difference. I'm going to find something special to do for my DH today.

Eileen, how special! My hubby needs a little something nice this week and I already have to get out to the store later anyway. What a great idea! Thank you :)

You are very nice to your hubby! Maybe I'll try it. Only mine doesn't like candy. I'll have to come up with something else.

I like that idea!!! It's nice to be thoughtful, but something that's often overlooked.

Love your new pic:)
Oh dear--my husband's favorite candy are Reece's peanut butter cups. I know he couldn't stop at one or let me give them away:)

Wow, I didn't expect to recieve comments on this, but always nice to hear from you all!

I discovered after much prodding that my hubby has a liking for assorted chocolates, the kind with the sheet that shows a picture and labels them all. Now how in the world do I create a candy dish for that? When it seems the sheet is what he's really amused by?

But I'm a creative one, so I decided to check out Zeller this weekend to find an affordable box of assorted chocolates and I'll cover the box top with candid family pics, so that everytime he goes to search out his next tongue teaser he'll have goofy faces to look at too.

I'll try and post a pic when I get this little challenge done.

And, Megan, it doesn't have to be a spouse you flourish thoughtfulness on. Anyone really will do. Even a canine or two. What about baking doggy treats specially for them this week. Or maybe something for your sister? You might be amazed at how your thoughtfulness trickles over to others.

LOL DH favorite candy is me! Just kidding. It's clearly a snickers bar everything else pales in it's presence.

Great idea, though I'm not sure what my hubby's favourite candy is. He doesn't like chocolate, which has caused us a bit of stress, as that's my all-time top favourite candy plus stress-reliever. :)

What a neat idea! He doesn't really eat candy, but he loves Altoid mints. Does that count?
