A Little of This, and a Little of That...

It's vacation week in our household and as a result I'm scatter-brained and still in a lot of pain due to pulling too many weeds and transplanting too many varieties. We dropped our girls off at horse camp yesterday after a weekend of packing and preparing for it. They were so excited!

Hubby is off for a few days this week, one is today, and maybe tomorrow--his work load is dictating day-by-day. So depending on his schedule I may not be around much this week.

Twitter and Facebook runners, have you got yourselves linked? If not, check out this article on Connecting Twitter to Facebook. It's simple enough that it worked for me. I'm in search of an article that links blog updates to Facebook and Twitter too, so if you find one please let me know. Or something that reveals how to create a tiny URL would be helpful too.

No writing happened this weekend for me, what about you? What about today? Who's going to join me to aim for 2000 words today? I better get writing before hubby wakes up. I pray we all have a productive and blessed Monday!

Surrendering to Him,
Eileen

eileen - download TweetDeck. you can fill in your website address and it does tiny url for you...plus with the click of one button prior to making your tweet, you can make it post to facebook, as well. give it a shot.

oh...you'll want to check out my post thursday...it's about the physical pain with psychological root. :) thanks for the suggestion.

Hey, guys, I met my goal at 2032 words. Feeling pretty good right now. I hope you guys are all doing well with your goals.

Jeannie, I tried downloading Tweetdeck but my computer won't let it for some reason. Any other suggestions?

Wow, no wonder you are sore!
I will do well to write 200 words today, but thanks for the encouragement.
Have a blessed time with husband. May your daughters have fun and be safe,

Wow, 2,000 words a day! I've been slacking some and only wrote about 5,000 last week. Not too bad normally, but I've been trying to catch up. I'm going to do what I can. 2,000 words a day sounds like a challenge I might have to do for Unplug Week. Good luck!

Eileen, Great job at already making your word count!! That's awesome! And a whole week without kids, just you and hubby? WOW! Hope you can put aside a little writing time to enjoy some activities together!

Okay, didn't make 2K, but did make 1K and got to shoot someone. (in the novel.) :)

Thanks for the encouragement to get the words on paper. Only 8K more to go!

I played hookey today and went to a movie with a gift card my daughter gave us months ago! Enjoy your vacation time. It goes fast!

I did it! 2,049 words. Thanks for this challenge - it really was the only thing that kept me going after 1000 words.

Hmmm ... between some picture book editing and essays/articles, I can probably do 2000! :-) Have a great week!

I did NO writing over the weekend, I forced myself to take a break. I'd planned to jump in last night, but that didn't happen either. Tonight? Maybe... we'll see!

Jeannie, I'm going to check out your post tomorrow during one of my writing breaks. Thanks for featuring my question.
