Oh, Life at the Cottage...

We had a wonderful time last week. I hope you all had a great week too!
To ease back into life as is, here are a few pictures from my week at the cottage.

Canoing

The kids doing dishes while having fun--Major Accomplishment!!

Our Furs enjoying the water.

Sand Castle Building

Campfires!

And for those who were wondering--Spider (Spidy) Wieners. Yummy!

I look forward to catching up on everyone's blogs. It may take me the week. But I will catch up! Along with going through my 710 emails awaiting my attention.

Have a blessed week everyone!

There must be one good book with a prologue, but I haven't found it. Let me know if you come across one. :)
But I think the last thing you said is really the key...you should find a way to slip it into the actual story.

I envy you being able to take your dogs on vacation!

Hi Eileen -

Oh, your vacation looks so relaxing! I've never heard of Spidey Wieners before. Do you simply cut and cook them or is there a secret ingredient?

Blessings,
Susan :)

Hey all, great to be back with you and catching up!!

Georgiana--of course I'm the photographer in these. I'm not sure if my girls caught me in any pics or not. I'll have to check.

Stephanie--just slice each end of the dog twice, slip the middle through a skewer and watch the heat of the fire do it's magic of curling the ends. So easy, but so yummy too.

Next year I'm coming. I pack light, make funny comments and will be out on the water most of the time anyway...heck, I'll even sleep out on the water if need be. :D Looks like a restful time.
