93 minutes and still going...

Okay, I'm sorry, I was going to create a post on Donald Maass' pointers on how to create characters larger than life, but I got sucked into catching up on email and visiting all your wonderful blogs that I'm now 94 minutes into my treadmill walk, sweaty and clammy feeling and energy ridden, so I just don't have it in me to create this post now. Wednesday. That's when I'll post it.

Happy Labour Day to you all!

May you all be enjoying this long weekend and gearing up for a brand new schedule of writing and learning!

Surrendering to Him,

Eileen

Wow are you in training for the treadmill Olympics? I think you'll get the gold!

Can't wait to hear more on Maass. I for one never tire of his book.

Treadmill and blogs at the same time? Or did I read that wrong? That's awesome - either way!

Happy Labor Day!

Do you read your computer while on the treadmill? WOw! I don't think I could do both at the same time! I walked on mine today and was happy with 25 minutes!

How cool that you tend to writing-related tasks while exercising. Great way to multi-task.

Hi Eileen -

I spent some time at the gym today, as well as going to a birthday brunch. (I had to work off all those delicious calories.)

Blessings,
Susan :)

I can not believe I stumbled across your blog! It is lovely! I am writing a novel for young adults, that has a romantic plot in it. (I plan to have it ready for publication by next winter) But, though the romance is my favorite part in it, I do not call it a romance. Romance has a bad name, and it is not like modern romance's. In fact, it is similar in many ways to Anne of Green Gables.

I am actually trying to write it in such a way, that both girls and boys will enjoy reading it. Most of it (except for the end) takes place in daily life, small little adventures happening throughout it.

I would love to talk to you about romances in more detail. What do you believe should be in a godly novel with a romantic side plot? I mean, I am really just focusing on their friendship more than anything else. It's not until later that it becomes a little more romantic, and yet, it doesn't seem to change much from just good friends.

I'd love to here from you!

Sounds like you had a great workout! I think I may have to consider multi-tasking! What a great idea to read blogs and exercise at the same time. And I am definitely looking forward to all of our chatting at the hotel!! I will absolutely LOVE to hear everything! :)

Are you from the UK, or do you just insist on spelling "labor" in the most awesome way possible?

Character advice is always good. Of course, I could just use a couple hints on how to write a query. Actually, I just need someone to write one for me. Mine sucks!
