...to learn more about me over at Romance Writers on the Journey. A huge thank you to Keli Gwyn for featuring me today. She came up with some really thought-provoking questions. I hope you'll take a few minutes to check it out, and let me know how you would end the journey sentence.
Keli is giving away a beautiful bookmark, and I'm offering a copy of Daily Devotions for Writers to one lucky winner. Good luck to everyone!
Surrendering to Him,
Eileen

I read the interview with you and enjoyed it.
Great interview, Eileen. I posted a comment over there! Have a great day!
Way cool, Eileen! :)
I'm delighted to have you as my guest, Eileen. Your answers to the questions are great. You opened your heart, and because of that I felt I really got to know you.
Your answer to the Potholes and Pitfalls question struck a chord with me. Like you, I have a hard time letting go of a story and believing it's good enough. Yeah, I'm a recovering perfectionist. :-)
I like your journey question at the end. Quite thought provoking.
Very interesting interview. Now I have a question? Why aren't you seeking publication? It sounds like your writing is ready. The books sound fantastic. I think you should go for it!
Thank you all for checking out the interview. I appreciate the interest!
Jill, to answer your question. I still think my writing often stinks. Yes, the stories make me sigh, I like them so much, but the actual forming of flowing sentences that say what I want them to say leaves a little to be desired still. Plus, I think I'm deathly afraid!!! Yet another thing to pray about!
Oh, I checked out your website. I really like it. I'll be reading your web blog postings with much interest this week!
Awesome! I'm going to check it out!
Yay! I can't wait to read your interview. I'm heading over. :-)
I had to come back!
I vacillate between loving my books and wanting to pound my head against a brick wall. There are so many beautiful writers out there. They put together the words in such a melodious and entertaining way. I want to be that writer! But I'm not. However, I tell a good story. Is it good enough? Time will tell. Don't let that hold you back. I'll bet you're way better than you give yourself credit for.
(A rejection won't kill you--I promise! It will have you diving into a bag of Oreo's, though. And it will also bring a massive round of doubts, but you get through them and move on. Writer friends hold your hand through this too! If you submit, let me know. I'll be there for you!)
Great interview!
